My work begins as soon as you contact me. I am already working out the best location and style to suit your needs. Your session price includes a complimentary styling consultation over the phone to discuss wardrobe, hair & makeup and any visions you may have for your shoot and my creative take on it.
WHAT IS YOUR PHOTO STYLE?
My style of photography is all about the subjects I’m shooting, that’s you! I love colour but black and white is a real favourite of mine as well.
TELL ME ABOUT THE LOCATIONS?
Your photo shoot can be held anywhere that suits even underwater! You can chose a special location or I can find one for you, your home or my studio. Each session is timed by how many photos you are thinking are getting done and making sure we get enough for you to pick from.
WHEN DO I CHOOSE MY PHOTOS?
Once we have captured all the shots we want we will have a quick look at the raw images in camera before you go, just to get you excited for the next step. The presentation! This will happen within 1-2 weeks. We will get together and go through your images. I will have already edited a couple I think you’d enjoy and so you get an idea of what the finished product will look like. Then comes the fun part of picking out your favourites and discussing where the best place to display them in your home or office will be.
WHAT PRODUCTS DO YOU HAVE AVAILABLE?
I have a full range of print products from canvases, and albums or you can simply pop a few prints in a frame on the wall. I can even help you decide what should go where. If you’d like anything more exotic please just ask and I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
DO YOU DO PRINTS?
Yes! I like to give you a couple of prints so that you can see the quality and perfection of professionally printed images. This way you can put them up on your walls straight away and not leave them on your USB to collect dust. You can also order more prints of different sizes, canvases, metal prints, and just about anything I can order.
CAN YOU PROVIDE AN ALBUM?
Of course I can! An album is one of the best ways to keep those cherished moments. Most people never do anything with their photos as we all have busy lives and they tend to get left on disc for years before they get around to showing them off.
HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
All my photographic packages include a free travel zone in the flat-fee price. If you live within the North Brisbane Region it’s in the free zone. The bigger the package the more leeway I can give you. However if your favourite location is, for example, the other side of Regional Queensland, NSW or NYC, the location is classified as non- local and additional travel fees, like airfares and accommodation may apply. We can discuss this when you get in touch.
WILL YOU TRAVEL BETWEEN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS ON THE DAY?
Of course I will. Important note: Remember to allow travel time between each location when you are planning your day and considering how many hours you will require me.
HOW MANY DIGITAL IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
That all depends on you and what package you order or put together.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
It usually takes me between 3-4 weeks depending on how busy I am at the time and the sort of shoot you have booked. A little longer for Weddings but i'll keep you posted along the way. But I will let you know that once you’ve finalised your photography package. Express service is available: If you need your photos extra fast I can usually accommodate this, additional fees may apply.
WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO SCHEDULE A PHOTO DATE?
Most people think a clear sunny day is the perfect light for photos. Generally isn’t. Late afternoon for a location shoot is the best as harsh daylight causes harsh shadows and generally is very unflattering. You also get to take advantage of those awesome sunsets. A studio shoot of course can be booked for anytime of day.
WILL WE GET A CHANCE TO MEET YOU BEFORE THE BIG DAY?
If you have booked a wedding then Yes I love to meet up with my bride and groom before the big day. If that isn’t possible then we can Skype, email or good old phones calls will do. We will use that time to outline a flexible schedule for your special day. I say flexible just in case someone is running late, things often happen at weddings and I like to be prepared. If you a booked a regular Photoshoot then we can if you’d like, usually Skype, email or through phone is usually enough. Extensive meetings may incur a fee.
DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT? WHEN IS THE FINAL PAYMENT DUE?
All that's required to book a Photoshoot $150 non-refundable deposit that comes off your final price. For Weddings, it is a non-refundable deposit of $250. The final payment is due seven days prior to your shoot date. I have payment plans available with Humm and Payright so please don't hesitate to ask.
